Challenge
Bathgate Silica Sand Ltd is one of a number of leading silica sand producers in England. Due to changes in the marketplace it was imperative that Bathgate secure and increase market share in the newer, emerging markets and to provide an increase in bottom line return from those clients. Quest was appointed to provide a practical way forward for Bathgate to achieve this.
Response
Quest implemented a regional PR campaign. Also, produced a brochure that conveyed Bathgate as a prestige product, that improved perception whilst differentiating from competitors, and succeeded in raising the company’s profile. Quest also provided exhibition support and tools to increase market share and penetrate new markets.
Results
The press campaign for trade and local press achieved coverage of over 280 column centimeters. Their new brand identity, collateral and exhibition launch resulted in a reported, positive change in market perception.
