Challenge

Stanley Security Solutions is a market leader in the design, installation and maintenance of a range of Security, Communication and Time Management solutions in the UK. QCM was briefed with supplying PR services as well as other PR and marketing initiatives appropriate in supporting Stanley’s sales and marketing strategy.

Response

  • The PR programme was built around identified key sectors and the most important vertical media. An average of 3 press releases per month were researched, written, issued and followed up within a broad range of key trade, local and online media, along with the negotiation and placement of relevant features, averaging 2 per month.
  • The development of a strong bank of case studies across key identified vertical markets was identified as a core strand of the PR programme and for use as important sales collateral:
  • As well as handling all media enquiries in terms of potential advertising opportunities QCM also negotiated improved rates and editorial-led inserts for adverts.

Results

The PR alone achieved at least 50 individual pieces of media coverage within a 6 month period, at least 20 different media have carried stories and at least 885 standard column centimetres of media coverage achieved – estimated advertising equivalent £17,700. The case studies and advertising provided effective support to the sales function.
